12. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL WARRANTIES

What’s covered?

The content of the warranty varies for each product.

Duration of guarantee – local area of ​​validity of the guarantee

The warranty period in accordance with European law covers you for 2 years from receipt of the product, please read the “Warranty Terms” section.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product and occupies the Greek territory.

What will be done to fix the problem?

FOIS will examine whether the product is covered by the warranty. Once the product or its component is defective, it will ensure that the problem is corrected or repaired. The choice of how to fix it is solely for FOIS.

Terms of Warranty

The warranty is valid from the original purchase date of the product and purchased by FOIS. In order to verify the date of purchase, it is necessary to keep the proof of purchase as it is the only proof of the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from poor assembly, misuse or storage, lack of cleanliness or scratches / hits or any other type of accident. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, products placed outside or in wet environments or non-domestic use, unless stated otherwise. If the defect of the product is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing error, within the warranty period, the cost of repair or replacement and transportation will be borne by the company. In case the defect is due to misuse of the product, within the warranty period, then the cost of its repair (spare parts, labor, transport, etc.) is borne exclusively by the consumer. For your better service, you can contact FOIS’s support department. In any case, it is assumed that the damage is checked within 14 days of the date of receipt. If a problem or deterioration is reported within 14 days, it is necessary for the consumer to have photos of the products before opening their packages to see if they have been caused by the carrier.

By way of exception, the exhibition products as second-hand products are not covered by a guarantee.

With regard to beds and sofas, the warranty does not cover damage to the sofa or bed caused by abnormal conditions

(cracking, burning, use of unsuitable cleaners, etc.), damage caused by the use of non-original parts or spare parts, or by a third person’s intervention before the FOIS person.

With regard to the mattresses, the warranty covers any defects due to the construction or materials of the mattress and not damages from the usual wear and tear, poor handling, poor fitting, lack of cleanliness, scratches, hits or any other type of accident. During the warranty period, the product or its accessories are either repaired by FOIS.

Natural wood products may be slightly altered over time (eg oak, walnut and walnut veneer due to the naturalness of the wood, there may be some change in color due to natural causes such as sun, light or other environmental conditions) .

Solid wood products are a living organism and need special maintenance care.

The product warranty does not include the shipping of the company’s techniques, as well as transportation to replace the product to and from the customer’s premises; services are charged separately and are not part of the warranty. The warranty relates to the product and not the carriage.

Under no circumstances will the product purchase money be returned.

General rights

In addition to the warranty rights, all rights that apply to consumers in all cases are acknowledged by the existing provisions and the laws on the sales contract. The consumer’s rights under the law are cumulative to the rights granted to him by the guarantee.
